What is SHARP?
SHARP is a Court supported Self-Help Center that provides free assistance to self-represented people (litigants) who do not have attorneys.
We are here to help!
Thank you for visiting the SHARP (Self-Help Assistance and Referral Program) website. We know that the legal process can seem overwhelming and stressful at times, but we are here to offer support with a team of committed legal professionals who aspire to provide exceptional, accessible, and fair justice services to all.
SHARP provides assistance in areas such as family law, guardianships, evictions, small claims, name changes, and restraining orders.
This program can provide support to all parties in a case. Although the program operates under the supervision of an attorney, we do not give legal advice. We provide help with forms, legal information, and education. We do not offer legal strategy and/or advice. SHARP will provide information about procedure, legal definitions, and choices that litigants may have, allowing people to make informed decisions about their case.
